Ran a 12 mile training run today. The last long run prior to the Hartford Marathon. Now I'm in "taper" mode. Basically DONE with training. Legs are good, I feel confident, and am ready for next week. The minimum goal is to beat my time at last years Hartford Marathon which was 4:13. That should be doable and I'm cautiously predicting 4:10. Just to be safe! I can do 9 min miles easily and have a number of half marathons at that pace. Can I maintain such a pace for 26.2? Maybe. I'm aiming to stay between 9-9:05 for the entire race. I'll know in 7 days.
